I work as a creative facilitator, delivering workshops and creative sessions across storytelling, drama, light stretching, art, games and singing to groups.
I work with adults with learning disabilities and autism, as well as older adults and people living with dementia. My work includes both group workshops and more individual, person-centred creative support.
I deliver creative sessions that can include:
Storytelling and drama-based workshops
Light stretching and gentle physical engagement
Art and creative making activities
Music-based sessions
Singing to groups
Games and playful group activities
Alongside group work, I also support more one-to-one creative and companionship-based sessions, depending on the needs of the individual or setting.
This can include activities such as:
arts and crafts
painting nails and personal care-led creative activities
going out into the community (e.g. walks or shopping)
music, conversation and shared creative time
Since 2020, I have worked as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities and autism through MacIntyre Care, alongside delivering creative workshops with Moving Waves.
I am fully DBS checked.
This combined experience has shaped a practice that sits between care and creativity - focused on accessibility, responsiveness and building meaningful connection through creative activity.
Alongside my facilitation work, I am developing Creative Companions - a creative, arts-based companionship practice focused on one-to-one and small group support.
This builds on my experience in care and community settings, and brings together both my support work and creative facilitation practice into a more focused service exploring how creativity can support wellbeing, connection and everyday joy.
My practice is rooted in the belief that creativity should be accessible, responsive and human.
I’m interested in work that meets people where they are - whether that’s playful, calming, expressive, or simply about shared presence. Sessions are shaped around the individual or group, and can be gentle, structured, energetic or reflective depending on what’s needed.
I’m especially interested in creating spaces where people feel seen, heard and able to participate in ways that feel natural to them.
If you’re interested in commissioning workshops, creative sessions or collaborative work, I’d love to hear from you.
